New Delhi: The counting of votes are underway for 34 wards of Shimla Municipal Corporation and the early trends/results have started coming.
Early trends show the ruling party Congress taking lead in the Shimla civic polls while Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lagging behind. The Communist Party of India (M) is also seen registering victory in 1 ward.
Elections for 34 wards of Shimla Municipal Corporation were held on Tuesday.
