Shocking! 16-year-old girl killed in UP for not accepting friend request on Facebook

The accused attacked the teenage and her mother when he came over to their house with a wedding card.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a teenager allegedly killed a 16-year-old girl and injured her mother for not accepting his friend request on social media.

The accused has been identified as Ravi, a resident of Muzaffanagar, said Superintendent of Police (city) Martand Prakash Singh.

Police has registered a case against him based on a complaint by the girl’s father Tejveer Singh.

The victim’s father is a security personnel at a Faridabad factory, Station House Officer Ajay Kaushal said.

The incident is said to have been take taken place in Nagla Bohra village under Highway police station limits late on Sunday.

According to the Officer, when the girl walked towards Ravi to collect the wedding card, he allegedly stabbed her.
Seeing this when her mother Sunita came to rescue her, Ravi attacked her as well.

According to the SP, Ravi also tried to kill himself with the knife.The victim’s father, Tejveer alleged that Ravi killed his daughter for she did not accept his friend request on Facebook.

Circle Officer Dharmendra Chauhan said that currently, Sunita and Ravi are undergoing treatment.
