Shocking apathy at Delhi airport: Woman suffers panic attack after ‘denied’ entry at gate, Air India clarifies

The man behind the camera alleged the airline’s staff did not provide any medical assistance instead they call ”security and forced her to go out of the airport.”

New Delhi: In a viral video on the internet, a man claimed that her aunt was allegedly denied entry at the boarding gate by the Air India staff. Owing to this, she suffered a panic attack. He shared the video of the incident on Instagram. It is reported that the incident happened at the Delhi International Airport.

Further in the video, he alleged the airline’s staff did not provide any medical assistance instead they call ”security and forced her to go out of the airport.”

The viral video, shared by an Instagram account namely the time traveller six days ago, shows a woman laying on the ground and groaning.

Sharing the video on Instagram, the man appealed to everyone to forward the video. He added, Let’s show the management and airline’s staff the ”power of the common man”.

The fan further wrote in his post,  ”We were 3 people at the airport and there were some technical issues going on at the security check-in point. Additionally, we had a heart & diabetic lady patient with us. Knowing the situation, we already communicated Air-India staff to help us in check-in as and due to technical issues going on at the check-in point.”

”They strictly denied us any assistance by saying the security check-in issue is none of our business.”

”However, we made check-in successfully. We called Air-India staff again to inform them that we have cleared check-in & we are moving towards gate 32B but we will be late by 5 min due to having a Heart & Diabetic Patient with us & she can’t run. My cousin reached the boarding gate within 2min & I reached after him with my aunt.”

”They literally closed gates for us & other passengers like us even if we intimated (plane was yet to fly after 30min).”

”My cousin had his final year VIVA on the same day which he missed due to missed the flight. My aunt got anxiety which turned into a panic attack, and she fainted there on the spot. We asked for a medical emergency but instead of that a staff called security and asked them to leave us at the exit gate,” read the post further.
