
New Delhi: A day after the row over Tamil actor Siddharth’s sexist tweet on badminton star Saina Nehwal, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has slammed his remark on Tuesday.
Former Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister, Rijiju said that actors comment depicted “a person’s ignoble mentality”.
Quoting Sania Nehwal’s Tweet called Siddharth as ignoble mentality.

Saina Nehwal, her husband Parupalli Kashyap also slammed actor Siddharth for allegedly making sexist remarks.
Sania said Tamil actor could have used better words to express himself.
The Rang De Basanti actor is being criticized for his tweet in response to Saina Nehwal’s tweet over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security lapse during his Punjab’s Ferozepur on January 5.
Later the Siddharth issued a clarification that he did not mean to disrespect anyone and his tweet contained no kind of insinuation.
The NCW Chairman has also written to Twitter India to remove actor’s Tweet from social media.
