New Delhi: The result for the 117 seats for the Punjab assembly election was announced on Thursday. Congress, the current ruling party in the state lost the 2022 election. Among the popular leaders, Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia, and BJP leader Jagmohan Singh Raju lost from East Amritsar seat.
The Aam Adami Party emerged victorious among the other parties by winning 92 seats out of the total 117 seats. In the East Amritsar seat, Jeevan Jyot Kaur secured victory with 36% of votes.
After it became clear that Sidhu lost the election, two hashtags — Navjot Singh Sidhu and Archana Puran Singh — started trending on Twitter.
People said controversial cricketer-turned-politician Sidhu will get back to The Kapil Sharma Show and replace Archana Puran Singh.
Many people also shared a lot of interesting memes with many people saying that Archana is worried.
It is noted that Sidhu was replaced by Archana in the show in the year 2019 due to his remark regarding the Pulwama terror attack.

Will Sidhu join The Kapil Sharma Show?
It would be right to say that if Navjot Singh Sidhu wants to rejoin the show, it would not be easy for him. The reason is that Sidhu has been issued a non co-operation notice by the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees. He is reportedly banned from entering the Mumbai Film City. This makes it difficult for him to get back to the show.
