SP leader mocks N-E girl, uses Taj Mahal photo to slam Yogi govt; gets strong retort

While tweeting her image, the SP leader pinned the blame on Yogi government for rampant pollution and accumulation of plastic waste in the vicinity of the iconic monument.

New Delhi: Attempting to tarnish the image of Yogi government by propagating ‘polythene-triggered pollution’ picture at Taj Mahal, a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader used the social media to publicize the shabby maintenance of the world’s top heritage site but it boomeranged on him. A young girl, whose picture he used and demeaned her by calling a ‘foreigner’, replied strongly to his ‘theatrics’ and asked him to desist from racial slurs.

Manish Jagan Agrawal, the Samajwadi Party’s digital media co-ordinator took to Twitter to share photo of girl, who carried a poster in her hand, highlighting how the plastic pollution menace has engulfed the world’s 8th wonder.
“Behind the beauty of Taj Mahal is Plastic Pollution,” the poster read.

While tweeting her image, the SP leader pinned the blame on Yogi government for rampant pollution and accumulation of plastic waste in the vicinity of the iconic monument.

“In the BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, river Yamuna has become contaminated. Taj Mahal, the structure that signifies beauty has developed in-numberable blemishes. This is utterly shameful and for all this, BJP government is responsible, he said.

He also called the young girl a ‘foreign tourist’ to which the latter took strong objection and tore into him for not checking before spreading fake narrative.

“The situation is such that a foreign tourist is forced to show mirror to mismanagement of Taj Mahal,” he added.

SP leader’s stinging jibe vs girl’s rebuttal

The girl took strong exception to SP media co-ordinator’s remarks and called out his dislike & distaste for the people from North-East states.

The girl told him that she has already represented the country 8 times at several international forums and hence nobody should dare to call her a foreigner. She also urged him to stop such racist attitude towards N-E people.
