New Delhi: Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla recently paid a visit to Akshardham complex in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar town. He met a lot of influential members of the Swaminaryan sect and paid his respects to the Pramukh Swami ji Maharaj.
The Speaker was visibly thrilled to visit the magnificent & sprawling Akshardham temple complex in Gandhinagar. He said that he always highest regards for the Swaminarayan sect and this visit only emboldened his beliefs in it.
Last year, Om Birla had met Param Pujya Mahant Swami ji Maharaj at Delhi’s Swaminarayan Akshardham in October 2022 and offered his respects. It was his first meeting with Mahant Swami ji Maharaj.
Om Birla had received a warm welcome by the BAPS swamis at Delhi’s Swaminarayan temple. Later, the Speaker took the blessings of Mahant Swami ji Maharaj and also complimented him for inspiring the remarkable cultural, spiritual and humanitarian work of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in India & around the globe.
