“Tabhi toh sab Modi ko chunte hain…”: BJP’s campaign song ahead of LS polls 2024 (VIDEO)

For the uninitiated, the BJP has set an ambitious target of surpassing its previous two electoral victories and breaching 400 seats mark.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched its campaign song for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 on Thursday. The song, with its major thrust on nation’s development & inclusive growth, is centered around Narendra Modi government and the series of initiatives undertaken by it in last 9 years. PM Modi also remains party’s Prime Ministerial face for a record third time.

The saffron party’s theme song on social media is an attempt to reach out to the internet-savvy generation and seek their support in this year’s Lok Sabha elections. Also, this comes on a day when PM Modi is set to sound poll bugle from Bulandshahr by announcing close to Rs 20,000 crore developmental projects.

The theme song, with over 2 minute duration, encapsulates the journey of Modi govt 1.0 and 2.0 and how path-breaking initiatives like Swachchta Abhiyaan, Ujjawala Yojana, Skill India Mission and more schemes led to resurgence in India’s growth story.

Comparing the ‘dark times’ of previous regimes with 9 years of Modi govt, it seeks to draw a clear difference and convince the voters including the first-time voters as to why they should pick Modi-led NDA over ‘headless’ INDIA alliance.

Parliamentary elections are due in March-April  and BJP’s blitzkrieg Vs INDIA’s ganging-up against incumbent govt is certain but who will have the vantage point, is the bigger question.

For the uninitiated, the BJP has set an ambitious target of surpassing its previous two electoral victories and breaching 400 seats mark. From Union ministers to party’s top leadership, all have assigned tasks to achieve this magic number in the 2024 Parliamentary elections. For crossing 400 mark, the saffron party is seeking to consolidate its vote bank in Hindi heartland including UP, Mahdya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh while breaking new ground in Southern states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Telangana. PM Modi’s frequents visits to Tamil Nadu before Ram Temple inauguration is understood to be part of this gameplan.

Rahul Gandhi-led Congress and INDIA allies have closed ranks to thwart the BJP’s chances of returning to power for record third time but the frequent infighting & differences over seat-sharing makes it difficult that it would be able to upset the BJP’s applecart.
