
New Delhi: In yet incident of targeted attack on non-Kashmiris, the terrorists on Saturday shot dead two youths in the valley, both hailing from Hindi heartland, who apparently came to Kashmir for earning livelyhood.
A street vendor was killed by terrorists in Eidgah Area of Srinagar.
“The non-local vendor has been identified as Arbind Kumar, a native of Bihar, was shot dead outside a park in the Eidgah area”, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar stated.

This is second such attack in the valley on a non-local vendor in past two weeks. On October 5, three civilians including Virendra Paswan from Bihar was shot dead by terrorists in a separate incident. Paswan earned his daily by selling ‘golgappa’ on the streets. Islamic State had claimed responsibility for the killing.

The IGP Kashmir said, “13 terrorists killed in nine encounters after civilian killings. We have neutralised 3 out of 5 terrorists of Srinagar city within less than 24 hours.”
“A total of 11 terrorists have been killed so far in the eight encounters done by the security forces. There was a lot of responsibility on us after the recent civilian killings,” he had said.
