Telangana unlocks, to lift all lockdown restrictions from June 20

New Delhi: The Telangana government has announced to life all lockdown restrictions in the state from Sunday. This apparently comes after state recorded steep drop in fresh Corona cases.

“The state cabinet has decided to lift the lockdown completely. The number of coronavirus cases and the positivity rate in the state has dropped significantly and the coronavirus situation has come under complete control,” the
Chief minister’s office said.

The decision has been taken after reviewing the reports of the medical authorities, the CMO said. The state govt has also directed officials of all departments to end all the regulations imposed during the lockdown.

Earlier, the government had announced certain relaxations between 6 am and 5 pm.

With COVID-19 situation easing, several states under lockdown and night curfew have started opening up and relaxing curbs in a graded manner. Restrictions like night curfew remains in many places while schools and colleges remain closed.
