Chandrayaan-3 will complete its much anticipated soft landing on the Moon on August 23, 18:04 Hrs.

New Delhi: On the occasion of India’s historical feat of Chandrayaan-3 attempting soft landing on Moon’s surface, the government schools in Haryana and UP are set to arrange special screening of the event for the students. This will be the first ever screening session organized by schools for the students.

The directives were given to all the schools by state authorities for the event. Schools are directed to be kept open from 17:15 Hrs to 18:15 Hrs for the live screening. The live streaming of the Chandrayaan-3’s soft landing will be available on ISRO’s website and YouTube channel. The event will also be live telecasted on DD nationals.

Notably, Chandrayaan-3’s landing is a highly anticipated event amongst the students and educators across the nation. Many educators have shown their excitement for the historical event.

Students in Jammu and Kashmir also organised an exhibition event for promoting a successful mission. The event includes songs and performances dedicated to Chandrayaan-3.

According to the CEO and chief educator of the Rocketeers Research Institute, Divyanshu Poddar, completing a successful soft landing on Moon is not an easy feat as understood from Russia’s failed Luna 25 mission. He said, ISRO has learned a lot from Chandrayaan-2’s failure and have made development in Chandrayaan-3 keeping all the possibilities in mind. This will result in increasing the chances of a successful landing in multiple folds.
