‘There’s Mo-Mo, understanding b/w Mamata & Modi…’: Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slams W. Bengal CM for not supporting Bharat Jodo Yatra

In a recent statement, Chowdhury said that there is an understanding between Mamata and Modi and West Bengal CM will not upset PM Modi.

New Delhi: Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, once again, slammed West Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee for not supporting Bharat Jodo Yatra and standing in alliance with PM Narendra Modi and BJP. In a recent statement, Chowdhury said that there is an understanding between Mamata and Modi and West Bengal CM will not upset PM Modi.

Talking to ANI, Congress MP said, “There is ‘Mo-Mo’, and understanding between Mamata Banerjee and Modi.” He added that Mamata cannot do anything to upset the PM and when Modi talks about a ‘Congress-free’ India, Mamata also talks about removing Congress from West Bengal.

Targeting the state CM on Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Chowdhury said that everyone is appreciating the Yatra but not her.

Earlier this month, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury slammed Mamata for remaining silent on Bharat Jodo Yatra and he accused she is supporting BJP’s agenda. He added that Rahul Gandhi sent invitations to her party but no one from TMC attended the Yatra in West Bengal.

sagar se pahar tak

While the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi did not enter West Bengal, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury began the Bengal leg of the Yatra and named it ‘Sagar Se Pahar Tak’. This march was flagged off on December 28 and will go till January 23, which is also the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The Yatra from Ganga Sagar Island in South 24 Parganas will end at Kurseong after covering about 800 km.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra is in Hiranagar Morh in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
