Tribal man tortured, then urinated upon in Andhra, cops arrest 6; VIDEO surfaces

Cops said that Mota Naveen was assaulted by 9 men and then 2 of them urinated on his face. The Andhra Police has taken 6 persons in custody including the prime suspect Manne Ramanjaneyulu.

New Delhi: Days after Sidhi peeing incident in Madhya Pradesh put humanity to shame, another such humiliation was meted out to a tribal man in Andhra Pradesh by a group of 8-9 miscreants.

The tribal man was mercilessly thrashed by a group of boys, allegedly over a love affair and then urinated upon his face. The incident happened in Andhra Pradesh’ Ongole town about a month ago but its video surfaced on Wednesday. One among the group of ruffians is understood to have recorded the inhumane act on camera.

As the video surfaced on social media, it created widespread uproar and unleashed a wave of anger for such tortuous treatment of a tribal man.

In the video, the Dalit man can be seen beaten black & blue by about 9 men and then urinated upon. The accused, presumably in inebriated condition, peed on the bruised man lying on the floor.

According to police, the victim named Mota Naveen was from Scheduled Tribe committee. The group of attackers has had two minor boys.

The cops however claimed that victim & culprit, both childhood friends, are history-sheeters and had more than 50 cases of theft registered against themselves.

According to Ongole SP Malika Garg, the rivalry between arose over relationship with a girl who was reportedly in touch with Naveen & one of Manne’s friends.

On June 19, Mota Naveen & Ramanjaneyulu consumed alcohol and following this a violent fracas broke out between them. Ramanjaneyulu’s accomplices then joined him and brutally assaulted Naveen.
