Tripura has become Coronavirus free, declares CM Biplab Deb

Tripura Chief Minister announced that the only second patient of the state has been tested negative after repeated tests and thus the state has become Corona free.

New Delhi: Tripura has become the second North-Eastern state to become Coronavirus free, after Manipur.

India's COVID-19 tally reaches 11,933

Under the able leadership of Tripura CM Biplab Deb, the state has largely managed to stave off the deadly virus. And, those infected with Covid-19 were immediately attended to.

Today, the Chief Minister announced that the only second patient of the state has been tested negative after repeated tests and thus the state has become Corona free.

Tripura CM also urged the people to maintain social distancing and follow all government guidelines to keep the state free of virus.

He also expressed his gratitude to doctors, nurses and healthcare workers on the frontline for making Tripura a Corona-free state.

Before Tripura, Goa and Manipur governments have declared themselves free from Covid-19 epidemic.
