Unlock 1: Govt’s guidelines for restaurants, hotels and shopping malls

As a common SOP, the government has said that people above 65 years of age, people with comorbidities, pregnant women are advised to stay at home, except for essential and health purposes.

New Delhi: As the nation resumes normal activity after almost 70-day lockdown, the Union Health Ministry today issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for workplaces, shopping malls, religious places, hotels and restaurants to prevent the pandemic spread.

These preventive measures have been listed out by the government to spread awareness among public as to how they can contribute in the fight against Covid-19. As is the common opinion, that Corona cases will witness a spurt with opening of lockdown, these guidelines will go a long way in putting up a united fight against the pandemic.
