Officer’s clout, police denial & social media fury…how it all happened

The woman employee, facing sexual assault on daily basis, initially kept mum but later picked up courage and made a video of Yadav. In the video, he could be seen forcing himself on the woman while she tries to shove him. The woman said that she was warned that she would be sacked if she complains to police or anyone else.

The woman lodged a complaint with Hussainganj police station on October 29 and submitted multiple videos of the act showing officer’s sexual advances. She also claimed that police dilly-dallied in arresting Yadav as the latter was well connected and wielded enough clout to suppress the matter.

It was then she decided to release the video clip on social media.

According to ADCP Central Khyati Garg, “The woman was called a few times to record her statement. After recording the statements and examining the evidence from both parties, action will be taken.”
