Uttar Pradesh: Serial killer murders three elderly women in Barabanki; Police launch manhunt

The first body was found on December 6 in the Khusheti village of Ayodhya, the second on December 17 in Barabanki.

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, three elderly women were reportedly killed by a serial killer in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki. Six police teams have been formed to apprehend the absconding killer.

The elderly women aged between 50 to 60 were killed within a gap of a few days.

It was only during the investigation when the team found that all these women were killed in a similar manner, then the serial killing angle came to light.

According to reports, the serial killer basically tarted older women and left their bodies with no clothes on them. Similar injury marks were also found on the face and heads of the deceased victims.

The first body was found on December 6 in the Khusheti village of Ayodhya, the second on December 17 in Barabanki.

On December 29, a woman who had gone outside to relieve herself and had also gone missing, and her naked body was found the next day in Thatharha village.

All the women who were killed were aged between  50 and 60. All of them were murdered in the same manner.
The picture of the serial killer was also shared by the investigating team.

The search for the serial killer is still underway.
