
New Delhi: Reports that are doing round on social media about pilgrims being stranded at the Vaishno Devi temple are not true. These reports are false and have been refuted by the Vaishno Devi Shrine board.
The board clarified that no devotee is currently stranded in Katra or at the Vaishno Devi shrine. According to the CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Ramesh Kumar Jangid, the pilgrimage was suspended on March 18, several days before the 21-day lockdown was imposed in the country.
