VIDEO: Brave women cops stop bank robbery in Bihar, take on armed robbers

In the CCTV footage that went viral on social media, the women constables named Juhi Kumari and Shanti Kumar can be seen stopping 3 armed robbers while they try to break into the bank, with arms.

New Delhi: Two women constables of Bihar’s Vaishali district are winning accolades for their valiant act of foiling bank robbery attempt on Thursday.

The brave constables guarding a bank in Vaishali fought off the armed robbers, while keeping their own lives at risk and shooed them away.

Their valiant act was also captured on camera, in which they could be seen acting promptly and staving off the bank plunder.

In the CCTV footage that went viral on social media, the women constables named Juhi Kumari and Shanti Kumar can be seen stopping 3 armed robbers while they try to break into the bank, with arms.

The video footage was shared by Bihar Police, which also lauded the brave action of women constables.

Tweeting the video, Bihar Police wrote, “The gallant act of two lady constables of Bihar Police is laudable. Their bravery thwarted an attempt of bank robbery in Vaishali.”


The constables, Shanti Kumari & Juhi Kumari were sitting at the entrance of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank of Sadar Police station area when these men tried to enter the bank.

When they asked for documents from these miscreants, one of them tokok out a pistol and pointed at one of the cops. In spite of getting on backfoot, the women cops leaped on their feet and gave them a bloody nose.

The robbers, sensing themselves in serious trouble, fled from the bank after some scuffle. The police are on the lookout for accused men, who tried to rob the bank.
