VIDEO: Woman makes a narrow escape as tree falls on Mumbai street

IMD also forecasted moderate to intense rain along with some gusty winds in Mumbai on Tuesday in aftermath of the cyclone Tauktae.

New Delhi: Cyclone Tauktae has wreaked havoc on the entire west coast of Indian subcontinent. The cyclone which first made landfall in Kerala has now reached Gujarat and Rajasthan after causing problems in Mumbai and Goa on the way. Mumbai saw gusty winds with upto 114 kmph of speed across the city as many tress got uprooted and fell on roads and vehicles causing damage, Due to lockdown restrictions in place there was not much movement on the roads but there were some incidents where people got injured.

In what could have been a devastating incident, a woman made a narrow escape by moving just seconds before a tree got uprooted and fell on the spot. In the video the woman is carrying a pink umbrella and crossing the road when she suddenly notices that a tree is about to fall on the spot where she is standing. The woman suddenly starts running away from the tree along with the autorickshaw which also crossed the tree some moments ago. The incident took place around 5:30 PM on Monday.
