Viral video “Air Force Flying Hawk Tales,” a father and daughter share joyous moment

Sanjay is presently receiving training in Bidar so that he can advance to a better IAF fighter aircraft.

New Delhi: An Indian Air Force father-daughter team made history when they flew in a Hawk-32 formation simultaneously at the Bidar station in Karnataka. It was the first time in history. Air Commodore Sanjay Sharma and his daughter, Flying Officer Ananya Sharma, were both seen posing in front of the fighter plane as soon as the picture started to circulate online.

According to the IAF, this incident occurred on May 30. Here is a tweet that the Gujrat section of the defence ministry sent.

“This has never happened in the history of the Indian Air Force when both a father and a daughter were part of the same fighter formation for a mission,” the Air Force stated in a release.

According to the reports, Ananya was chosen to join the IAF’s training unit after earning her B Tech in electronics and communication. She was also chosen in December of last year to be a flying pilot.

Her father, Air Commodore Sanjay Sharma, has been a fighter pilot in the Air Force since 1989.
