West Bengal polls: BJP releases list of 148 candidates | Check full list here

Bengal elections will be held in 8 phases beginning March 27 while the final phase will be held on April 29. The counting of votes will take place on May 2. 

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released the final list of the candidates for Bengal Assembly Elections 2021. Bengal elections will be held in 8 phases beginning March 27 while the final phase will be held on April 29. The counting of votes will take place on May 2.

BJP list includes big names such as Mukul Roy, Rahul Sinha, Jagannath Sarkar, others.

BJP’s Central Election Committee finalized the names of candidates for constituencies going to polls in last 4 phases of Bengal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party chief JP Nadda, Union Ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari and other CEC members attended the meeting at the party national headquarters. General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh and senior party leaders were also present in the meet.

Meanwhile, campaigning for the upcoming polls has reached a feverish pitch with two political rivals BJP and TMC, pulling out all stops to influence the electorate.
