New Delhi: Ghulam Nabi Azad quit the Congress on Friday after resigning from the primary membership of the party after serving it for over 50 years. He also wrote a four-page long letter to Congress President in this regard. Azad openly blamed Rahul Gandhi in his letter for being one of the primary reasons to leave the party.
He added that all senior and experienced leaders were sidelined and new coterie of inexperienced sycophants started running the affairs of the party. The 73-year-old leader also said that the party’s situation has only worsened since the 2019 election.
