New Delhi: With about a fortnight before the historic Pran Pratistha ceremony at Ayodhya’s magnificent Ram Temple, the excitement and euphoria among ‘Rambhakts’ & Lord Ram devotees is palpable.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said today that the whole country is looking forward to January 22 and the devotion for Lord Ram is only increasing every day. He also shared a soulful song ‘Jai Shree Ram’ by acclaimed singer Hansraj Raghuwanshi from his X handle.
While sharing the video, PM Modi praised the bhajan singers who are building the momentum for grand ceremony and said that ‘every expression was welcome’.

Notably, PM Modi on Wednesday shared the ‘Ram Aayenge’ bhajan of Bihar-based singer Swati Mishra. He congratulated the singer for soulful rendition of the song and said that this was leaving everyone ‘speechless & mesmerized’.
Who is Hansraj Raghuwanshi?
Hansraj Raghuwanshi, hitherto, a devotional song singer with limited appeal & fan following, became a ‘newsmaker’ today after PM Modi shared his Jai Shri Ram song from his X handle.
Hailing from Himachal’s Solan district, Hansraj Raghuwanshi is a singer & composer. He completed his early education in Himachal, and moved out of state after studying B.Com from a college in Sundarnagar Mandi.

In an interview, he disclosed that he didn’t have any interest in education and hence he got flunked in the same class thrice.
He always had a liking for singing. Despite economic hardships, he persisted with it as his hobby and started worked in the college canteen, where he studied.
Which song made Raghuwanshi became popular?
Hansraj Raghuwanshi, while working during college days, recorded a song on Lord Shiva and posted on YouTube. The song ‘Mera Bhola hai Bhandari’ caught the imagination of many users and this gave his first public attention.
This song proved to be a turning point in his life as it kept enamoring the Shiv devotees, making him a prominent devotional singer.
Since then, the singer has never looked back.
