The South Indian actress has worked with many big banners like ‘Mean Girls’, ‘Spin’, ‘Senior Years’ and in OTT as well ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’. She is also named as the South Asian Person of the year by Harvard University. The 19 year old actress was given the honor for her contribution in the Indian and International Entertainment world. After receiving the award the actress said, “Being honoured by such a prestigious institution as Harvard University is truly humbling and incredibly motivating. This award not only acknowledges my efforts but also underscores the significance of narratives transcending borders and the crucial role of Indian representation in global media,”

About Avantika Vandanapu
The 19 year old was born on January 25, 2005. She was born in a Telugu speaking family in California. Her family originally hails from Hyderabad before they moved to U.S. Avantika also took drama lessons at the American Conservatory Theater. She won the second place in Zee Tv’s Dance Competition ‘Dance India Dance’ in 2014. The South actress made her entry in Telugu in 2015 and signed two films. The actress soon moved out of Telugu cinema and revealed that the reason she decided to exit was the lack of variety of roles. Avantika is best known for her role in the Musical Comedy ‘Mean Girls’.
