New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday shared yet another devotional song on Lord Ram, ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22. PM Modi on Tuesday shared the Kannada rendition of Ram Bhajan by the acclaimed singer Sivasri Skandaprasad and posted adulatory message for the vocalist.
Notably, Prime Minister has been giving a shout-out to Ram Bhajan singers from the across the country for quite sometime and lauding their devotion for the Lord Ram.
Sharing Sivasri Skandaprasad’s Kannada rendition of track ‘Poojisalende’, PM Modi wrote, “This rendition by Sivasri Skandaprasad in Kannada beautifully highlights the spirit of devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram. Such efforts go a long way in preserving our rich cultural heritage. #ShriRamBhajan.”

Who is Sivasri Skandaprasad?
Sivasri Skandaprasad is a well-acclaimed singer, hailing from Tamil Nadu. Hailing from family of singers, she has music in her blood. Sivasri has done her post-graduation in Bharatnatyam. She is the daughter of renowned Mridangam artist Skandaprasad. Her grand father was also a renowed musician of his time.

Sivasri Skandaprasad was left speechless when she got to know that her Kannada rendition of Ram Bhajan was acknowledged by Prime Minister. Reacting to the news, she said that she never dreamt of getting such a recognition. She also said that she was highly grateful to PM Modi for praising her voice.
