New Delhi: As the shocking murder of four-year-old son at the hands of her mother makes the nation cringe over agonizing incident, the Bengaluru CEO is understood to have committed the sinful crime over differences with her ‘estranged husband’.
Suchana Seth, the CEO of Bengaluru-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) start-up was apprehended by Karnataka police while she was on way back to home state after committing the murder in a Goa resort. She had stuffed the body of her son in a bag and was reportedly hunting for a location to hide it but was caught by Karnataka cops in Chitradurga district.
The 39-year-old woman had checked into a Goa service apartment in Condolim with her son on Saturday and then checked out on Monday alone. Her husband is said to be an AI developer and currently based in Indoesia.
Who is Suchana Seth?
Suchana Seth, the mother turned monster lived in Bengaluru and used to run a start-up company named ‘The Mindful Al Lab’.
Being the CEO of AI start-up firm, she was at the helm of company for over 4 years. Her company focused on advancements & latest developments in the field of Artificial intelligence.
Prior to opening a company, the woman has wide experience of working in the private sector. She has worked as an affiliate at the Berkman Klein Center for two years.
As per her LinkedIn profile, she worked as a senior data scientist at the Boomerang Commerce in Bangalore. She was employed as senior analytics consultant at the company’s Data Sciences Group.

At first instance, the woman looks well-qualified as per her education details & degrees. She holds Master’s degree in Physics specialising in Plasma Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Calcutta, where she also won gold medal.
She also holds PG diploma certificate in Sanskrit certificate. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Physics (honours) in first class from Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata. She also got First Rank from the Ramakrishna Mission Institute Of Culture.
Her LinkedIn account further says that she was a fellow at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Centre and a data scientist with over 12 years of experience.
Why Suchana killed her son?
Though the motive behind son’s murder is yet to be ascertained, the police sources claimed that the woman committed heinous crime because of estranged husband.
The duo married in 2010 had their first baby in 2019. The couple are awaiting divorce, however, the husband has visitation rights of the child, approved by the court.
The woman didn’t want the duo to meet and hence planned a trip to Goa to snuff out the young life.
