New Delhi: Punjab assembly election 2022 was a game-changer for the Aam Aadmi Party as its candidates washed away the reign of the chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi in Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu in Amritsar East, former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh in Patiala, and Shiromani Akali Dal patriarch Parkash Singh Badal in Lambi.
Comedian-turned politician Bhagwant Mann in his victory speech promised to fix unemployment as the primary task after stepping into his office. Talking about the Dalit voters, Mann stated that none of the government offices will bear the photo of the Punjab CM rather will carry a portrait of Dalit icon, BR Ambedkar. Besides, the ruling Congress has been relegated to the second position in the state by losing power.
The whole of Punjab is resonating ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ after the massive victory of AAP. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal while slamming the opposition parties said, “Sadly in the last 75 years, these parties and leaders had the same British system, they were looting the country, no schools and hospitals were made. AAP has changed the system.”
