New Delhi: Amid widespread speculations & reports of Kiccha Sudeeep joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of Karnataka Assembly elections, the Kannada superstar made it clear that he will only campaign for ‘friends’.

Earlier today, the actor said he received death deaths, prompting cops to lodge a case. The Puttenahalli police in Bengaluru logged case under IPC Sections 506 & 504 and launched probe into the matter.

According to police, the actor’s manager Jack Manju informed them about threat letters. The letters were reportedly full of cuss words against the actor and it also threatened to reveal his private video.

In his police complaint, the actor called it an attempt by some miscreants to sully his image and damage his dignity as actor.

Despite the controversy around threat letter to Kiccha Sudeep, the buzz remains strong that the Kannada actor will be saffron party’s star campaigner in the poll-bound state. As per earlier reports, he was to address a presser with CM Bommai and disclose his ‘association’ with the party for campaigning & seeking public support for the party.

Kiccha Sudeep is a superstar in the Kannada film industry and enjoys huge fan following in the state. His canvassing for support is expected to give the party an extra edge in the impending polls. Poll surveys have already forecasted a tough battle, with some projecting dislodging of Bommai govt.
