Yogi Adityanath celebrates Holi in Gorakhpur with sunglasses, toy bulldozer [SEE PICS]

New Delhi: On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh’s acting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the Holika Dahan celebrations from his constituency Gorakhpur.

The caretaker CM interacted with the people and played Holi with them, told the locals.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and supporters have been celebrating Holi in various parts of the state since March 10, as the party made a historic win in Uttar Pradesh for the second consecutive term.

“People have started playing Holi from March 10 onwards itself. I want to thank you for choosing a government of law and order. This election showed that truth will always triumph”, Yogi Adityanath told the media.

In the pics, the caretaker CM Yogi Adityanath can be seen distributing sweets and chocolate to the kids, interacting with the locals, throwing petals of flowers on them.

In one of the pics, a person can be seen offering a toy bulldozer to the CM, to mark the significant return of Yogi government in the state.

Meanwhile, the BJP Uttar Pradesh core committee discussed the formation of government in the state, during a six-hour-long meeting on Wednesday.

In the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2022, the BJP emerged victorious winning 255 seats. The Samajwadi Party emerged as the second-largest party with 111 seats.

Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) was reduced to only one seat while the Congress party bagged two seats in the Assembly Polls.
