Yogi Cabinet 2.0: Probable ministers invited for tea ahead of swearing-in, here is the list

Those who were invited to tea included Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dinesh Sharma, Siddharth Nath Singh, Nand Gopal Nandi, Brajesh Pathak, Jai Pratap Singh, Satish Mahana, Jitin Prasada, Suresh Khanna and Shrikant Sharma.

New Delhi: As Yogi Adityanath takes oath of office as Chief Minister of UP for second term, all eyes are on the probable ministers who will be sworn in as Ministers in the Yogi cabinet.

The oath ceremony of Yogi Adityanath government is going to be a gala event, with festive environment in many cities of Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, about 40 minister are likely to take oath and there could be an big induction of 25-30 faces, aimed at infusing fresh energy & drive in the cabinet. There is also likely to be adequate representation of OBCs and Dalits, with key figures being shortlisted for the Council of Ministers.

The Yogi Cabinet 2.0 may also accommodate members from Jat community as well. Representation from Kashi, Braj and Awadh region have also been included, said sources.

As the Prime Minister himself drew a parallel between 2022 results & 2024 LS elections, the party brass has zeroed in and finalised candidates, keeping in mind the 2024 challenge.

Leaders who were invited for tea with Yogi

Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, many leaders (assumed to become minsiters) were invited for tea & breakfast this morning at his home.

Those who were invited to tea included Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dinesh Sharma, Siddharth Nath Singh, Nand Gopal Nandi, Brajesh Pathak, Jai Pratap Singh, Satish Mahana, Jitin Prasada, Suresh Khanna and Shrikant Sharma.

Reports suggest that Keshav Prasad Maurya is set to make a return as Deputy CM in the Yogi cabinet, despite losing elections from Sirathu Assembly seat.

Baby Rani Maurya, a leader from the Jatav community, is also likely to be sworn in as Dy CM. Incumbent UP BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh may also be awarded with a plum portfolio.

On Wednesday, a marathon meeting of top BJP leadership also took place in the national capital.
