Holi is the day for colours, gulal, and distributing sweets. People, especially children, and youngsters enjoy their Holi which is celebrated every year after the full moon in the Hindu month of Phalguna, which falls in March as per the Gregorian Calendar.
The night before Holi is celebrated as Choti Holi on account of how Lord Vishnu saved his devotee, Prahlad, from the hands of the demon king Hiranyakashipu and his sister Holika.
