New Delhi: Mumbai has been witnessing incessant overnight rainfall all over the city. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that isolated places in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Palgarh will be experiencing intense to very intense rain with gusty winds reaching almost 40-50 kmph.

Notably, the heavy rainfall has disrupted traffic movements in several parts of Mumbai. Besides, the water logging reached up to the height of two feet near the Andheri Subway.
The heavy rain is expected to take place for the rest few days in Mumbai, Palghar, and Thane districts. An orange alert has been issued for Mumbai and Thane today.
Also, IMD has issued an orange alert in the city, focusing on the heavy rainfall.
