Promise Day

What are the foundation stones of a healthy and long-lasting relationship? It is trust, respect, friendship, and love. This day, helps the couples get a chance to celebrate their love, trust each other, and be constant supporters of each other. Every couple should work on trust which must be developed through promises, actions, and reassurances. The loved ones need to make themselves feel valued and special.

This promise day make promises to stick to each other through thick and thin. While celebrating Promise Day, it is important to keep a note of some promises that should never be made between the couples as they might not end up well. Here are some:

  1. I’ll never leave you: This is one of the most common promises that couples make to each other. The journey between two loved ones shouldn’t be based on fake promises. Every relationship has its ups and downs and that is alright. You should always enjoy the current moment you are spending with your partner.
  2. I’ll never hurt you: In every relationship there are bitter moments, but that doesn’t mean the two have fallen out of love. There shouldn’t be a situation where you’ll be promising not to hurt your partner but end up hurting them at the next moment. In a relationship, there will be arguments, and it’s a common factor.
  3. I’ll never lie to you: In a relationship, one might lie to the partner to not hurt feelings. But before lying, you should try talking to your partner first them making assumptions in your head and lying.
  4. I’ll never get mad at you: It is obvious to get upset, especially with your close ones. So making such a fake promise will weaken your bond. Instead, if you are annoyed with each other, give them space.
