New Delhi: We have heard of tricky challenges a person poses to decide the heir. Here is a story of an Arab sheikh, who is trying to find his new heir. The situation is tricky and has a puzzling question for you to solve. The story has a sheikh, his two children, camels and a wise person.
Do not worry, it is tricky but fun also. So are you ready to listen to the story?
An Arab sheikh tells his two children to race their camels to a city situated far away. This race will decide who will inherit his fortune. The catch here is that the sheikh also announced that the one whose camel is slower will win the race and eventually be the owner of all his wealth.
The brothers begin to race and start wandering aimlessly after a point. As a few days pass, they meet a wise person on their journey and ask for advice. The wise person tells the trick to win the race and thereafter the children jump on the camels and race as fast as they can to the city.
What do you need to answer?
Now, when you know the situation and the conditions, try to answer the following question-
The wise person’s advice worked, so can you guess what was the piece of advice?
The answer is in the details. The wise person told them to switch the camels.
The sheikh said that the owner of the slower camel would win the race. So, when they switched the camels, now their intention was to make the other’s camel travel fast which will make their own camel slower.
