Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating love. The air smells of love and each and everyone tries to make their special ones feel the freshness of love all over again. The celebration continues for a whole week calling it Valentine’s week starting from the rose day and ending with Valentine’s Day.
Music plays a different role in enhancing the romantic atmosphere, especially on Valentine’s Day. Be on a dinner date with a live band playing some songs or a long drive – Bollywood songs create a different aura in our minds. Just to power up your Valentine’s Day, we present a list of 5 Bollywood songs that will make you fall in love all over again:
1. Ek Din –Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu
The 90s song from Big Boss featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla must have been added to your playlist after the song was appropriately used in the web series “Little Things” in season 3 as the wrap-up song. If you believe in old-school love, this song is a must.
2. Tu Mileya – Darshan Raval
This song is a treat to all the lovebirds powered up by the soulful voice of Darshan Raval. The lyrics are too powerful to touch the heart of the youngsters, freshly in love. The song is written by Gurpreet Saini and Gautam G Sharma.
3. Raatan Lambiyan – Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur
Just as the movie Shershaah was a major hit at the box office, so were its songs. Tanishk Bagchi gifted us beautiful songs which resonated with the love story of Dimple Cheena and Vikram Batra. The magical voices of Jubin Nautiyal and Asees Kaur made us want to hug our partners tight!
4. Gehraiyaan Reprise – Mohit Chauhan
Although the movie is getting mixed reviews, the songs are being loved by the audience. Gehraiyaan’s title track has already acquired love and several reels have come on social media platforms. But the reprised version has added more to the feel of the depths of love. Mohit Chauhan’s soulful voice was soothing to hear and reminds the loved ones to fall in love again.
Rait Zara Si – Arijit Singh and Shashaa Tirupati
A.R. Rahman never fails to leave his mark on the films he gives music to. So is the case with the song Rait Zara Si. This song from ‘Atrangi Re’ has captured all the hearts of the romantic souls.
