Watch: Ahmedabad’s street-side stall selling ‘Oreo Pakoda,’ leaves netizens unhappy

Soon after recovering from the shock of accidentally witnessing ‘Oreo Maggi’ on the internet, netizens saw another recipe of Oreo that is ‘Oreo Pakoda.’

New Delhi: People have been experimenting with Oreo biscuits in different ways. Some like to consume as it is, while others add it to the milkshake or even in the cake. Not too long ago, netizens accidentally saw the recipe of ‘Oreo maggi’ and while trying to recover from it, they met with another recipe named ‘Oreo pakoda.’

A video has surfaced on the internet showed that a street-side stall in Ahmadabad selling pakora made from very unexpected and much-popular Oreo biscuits. The video has been originally shared by a food vlogger named Amar Sihori on his YouTube channel ‘Foodie Incarnate.’ The video spanning almost three minutes shows how Ahmadabad’s popular ‘Oreo pakoda’ is made.

“OREO KE PAKODE. Oreo bhajiya. Oreo pakoda. Ahmedabad street food. Ahmedabad famous food. Unique street food. Weird street food,” read the caption attached with the video.

In the video, the vlogger states pointing towards the stall that it has been selling Oreo pakoda for 15 years and people especially children love it. He then focuses on the food stall owner who demonstrates how the pakoda is made.

The video was shared on November 4, 2021, and has gained more than 1 lakh views and hundreds of comments.

One of the YouTube users wrote, “Oreo se pahile shayad parle sunfiest ke cream biscut ka banate honge,” while another stated, “After few years Oreo ki sabji with kulcha.” The third user commented, “After few years – le lo bhai Oreo dum biriyani *500 rupees kg.”

While referring to Thanos, the villain of Marvel’s Universe, a user said, “don’t worry bro, it’s a gesture of thanos’ arrival.”
