Priyanka Gandhi to announce Himachal Pradesh CM soon

New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi, who was the incharge of Congress for Himachal Pradesh elections will announce the name of Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. National General Secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi led the campaign in Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections 2022 along with Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge.

The decision to decide the name of CM comes after huge tussle and uproar among the newly elected MLAs. The decisions come after all the 40 elected MLAs passes the resolution asking party high command to take the decision as to who will become the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. This is the first win of Priyanka Gandhi as a state incharge in any election.

Previously, she was also made the incharge of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections where the Party performed miserably. But in Himachal Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi left no stone unturned to form the wave in direction of party’s favor.

Talking about the ones in the race of Chief Minister, state Congress chief Pratibha Singh is the top name that is in headlines. Her supporters held a show of strength to the party high command in Shimla and demanded Pratibha as the new CM.

Some of her supporters even blocked Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghels’ car as they chanted Pratibha Singh’s name, a three-time MP and also wife of the late leader Virbhadra Singh, who was very influential in his days.

Other names who are in discusion are Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Mukesh Agnihotri. They have their own political influence in their constituency and homes.
