James Anderson is 3rd pacer to pick 900 international wickets, here are others with similar feat

There are total six players who have crossed this mark but Anderson is the only one in that list who is still playing International cricket.

New Delhi: When James Anderson got the wicket of Indian vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane in the 4th test match against India, he joined the exclusive club of fast bowlers who have taken more than 900 wickets in their entire career.

James Anderson is third in the list after Glenn McGrath(949 wickets) and Wasim Akram(916 wickets).

Breakdown of Anderson’s 901 wickets:

  • 614* test wickets
  • 18 T20 wickets
  • 269 One-Day International wickets
