The major update is that the game has been abandoned due to rain and the handshake between Javgal Srinath and Pakistani Skipper Babar Azam is showing the same. Such a disappointing end of an eagerly anticipated high-profile clash between arch-rival India and Pakistan is no less than an anti-climax for both the players and the fans.
With this tie, Pakistan has officially made it to the Super Four stage while India will still have to beat Nepal in order to secure their place it the next stage of the tournament.

Umpires are having one final chat with the groundsman and it seems like the rain has had the final say in this High-octane clash between India and Pakistan.
Pakistani fans and dugout look visibly restless as the downpour shows no sign of stopping and even the possibility of a cut-off 20-20 game looks really slim now.

Naseem Shah concluded Indian Inning on 266 by dismissing Jasprit Bumrah who added 16 crucial runs for India. The tailender lost his wicket while trying to go for a big shot by clearing the midwicket but couldn’t generate enough power to do the same and got caught by Rizwan behind the Stumps.
With Bumrah’s dismissal, the Indian innings came to an end in 48.5 overs and now it will be Pakistan who will have to chase down the target of 267 runs in 50 overs to clinch their second victory of the tournament while Indian bowlers will try their best to not let that happen.
