Several members of the Indian team also decided to give their take on this special gym session.

Indian southpaw Ishan Kishan said that these gym sessions are very important as sometimes, when we play regular matches and do not attend the gym, we can lose out on lots of muscles. He also emphasized on the importance of maintaining the routine on the rest days, as proper rest is just as important as proper exercise.

The pace-bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur said after playing constant cricket, this was their first proper gap between two matches in quite some time. He also said that these long gaps allow you to push your limits and work a little harder on your physical strength.

According to Kuldeep Yadav, they can push their limits today as their next cricket camp is scheduled for September 10. He also said that today’s day was rather hectic than any other day in this gap.

Notably, India is set to face Pakistan for the second time in Asia Cup 2023 on September 10, as their last match was washed out without a single ball being bowled in the second innings.
