New Delhi: Asian Games 2023 are underway in China’s Hangzhou province and the athletes & wrestlers are fighting it out in the respective disciplines to bring laurels & medals to their country.
The cricket tournament in the Asian Games is also drawing major interest, in light of upcoming Cricket World Cup from next month.
The Asian Games Men’s T20 tournament started from September 27 and will conclude on October 7. A total of 14 teams are in the race for the trophy. Currently, league matches are underway and the gold medal match will take place on October 7.
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are ranked among top 5 seeds team and therefore they will directly begin campaigns from quarter-finals.
All cricket matches of the Asian Games are being played at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou province.
