New Delhi: Bangladesh and Australia will lock horns against each other for the final time in the five-match T20I series at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka 5:30 PM IS.
Austalia finally managed to beat hosts after a losing streak of 3 T20I matches and will try to finish the series on a good note. So far Bangladesh is has won the 3 out of 4 T20I and leading the series by 3-1.
Somehow visitors made a great comeback and won the 4th match by 3 wickets. Yes 4th T20I was a close call and Aussies managed to win this.
Coming into the game hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. Aussies restricted the hosts at a score of 104 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Afif Hossain and Mohammad Naim scored 20 runs and 28 runs respectively.
Mahedi Hasan scored 23 crucial runs and gave a most needed finishing touch to the team. Mitchell Swepson and Andrew Tye picked 3 wickets each for Australia. Swepson was also awarded the Player of the match leggie took 3 wickets and gave just 12 runs in his 4 overs.
Chasing a low target of 105, Visitors easily chased the target in the 19th over for the loss of 7 wickets where Dan Christian and Ashton Agar smashed 39 runs and 27 runs respectively.
