New Delhi: After winning the first ODI match by 33 runs, Bangladesh will once again face Sri Lanka in the second match of a three match ODI series. Bangladesh scored 257 runs for 6 wickets and Sri Lanka failed to chase that as the team fell for just 224 runs.
The Sri Lankans struggled in the first match as their rebuilding situation was very clear in their performance. The top order failed to make much of an impact as Gunathilaka, Kusal Perera and captain Kusal Mendis couid not score more than 30 runs each. Hasaranga performed well with 74 runs. Wanindu Hasaranga failed to make an impact with the ball but Sri Lanka was still able to take six wickets. Dhananjaya De Silva will be the one to look out for as he took three wickets in the last match. Sri Lanka will try to win this series to keep their confidence high for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
Bangladesh performed phenomenally in the first ODI as three of their players made half-centuries – Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah. Shakib Al-Hasan was back in the squad, he was able to score only 15 runs but he took one wicket. Bowling attack was led by Mehidy Hasan who took four wickets while conceding just 30 runs. Mustafizur Rehman also took three wickets which should be enough for you to consider him.

Pitch Report
The pitch at Shere Bangla Stadium has been good one for batsmen but it is also very favourable for spinners as they took 10 out of 16 wickets in the first match. There is something for fast bowlers too. Batting first will be the priority for both teams as putting a good total on scoreboard will be easy to defend.
