New Delhi: Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star players MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina were seen fine-tuning their skills in a practice-session held. On Thursday, CSK posted a video on Twitter in which Dhoni and Raina can be seen going through various drills and the duo also had a hit with the bat in the middle.

Dhoni has led CSK to IPL title thrice (2010, 2011, and 2018). The franchise had finished at the seventh spot last season and it was the first time, that the side failed to qualify for the playoffs.

As per sources. it is being said that great opener Virender Shewag will also be playing in this match under MS Dhoni as BCCI has decided to give him his farewell.

Earlier, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has urged the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to host a farewell match for former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) named former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the captain of its Men’s ODI Team of the Decade.

The team led by Dhoni also includes star batsman Rohit Sharma and Indian skipper, Virat Kohli. In the team, David Warner has been chosen to open alongside Rohit while former South Africa cricketer AB De Villiers is picked as a middle-order batsman.

Dhoni had made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in 2004. However, he did not have a good outing as he scored just 19 runs in the three-match series. But the wicket-keeper truly arrived in the series against Pakistan in 2005, as he scored 148 runs in the second ODI of the six-match series at Visakhapatnam.
