New Delhi: The week long festivities, kicking off from Christmas & extending upto New Year, has given a moment to celebrate and rejoice even as fears of fresh Covid pandemic looms large over the globe.
Former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni celebrated Christmas in Dubai, along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni & Jiva. The family is likely to stay put there till the arrival of New Year. Yesterday, Team India’s wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant also joined the couple in the Gulf nation for ringing in the New Year.
MS Dhoni, one of most successful Indian captain, has retired from the International cricket however he continues to play in Indian Premiere League (IPL). Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper & a crucial batter in Team India was part of recently concluded series in Bangladesh.
Cricket lovers see Dhoni-style fireworks and expect Pant to take forward Dhoni’s legacy. Pant has delivered on many occasions, however, lately his performance has come under a cloud.
Performances aside, Rishabh Pant is set to take part in New Year celebrations in Dubai, along with Dhoni & family. After the conclusion of Bangladesh tour on December 25, Pant landed in Dubai and was also seen at a party along with Dhoni & wife.

Team India is currently on a small break after Bangladesh tour. The Men in Blue will start the New Year with a series against Sri Lanka, beginning from January 3. Rishabh Pant will also be part of the squad, however, opening batsman KL Rahul will be missing from the series for his marriage. The cricketer had reportedly sought leave from the cricket board, as he is set to tie the knot with Athiya Shetty.

In the video, Dhoni’s daughter Ziva can be seen posing with a beautiful Christmas tree that looked absolutely jaw-dropping. The video also shows her doting parents while Dhoni can seen cutting a roast turkey. Posting the video, Sakshi wrote, ‘Merry Christmas’.
