Men’s hockey team registered a commanding win against Ghana on Sunday and seems quite dominating for their upcoming campaign
New Delhi: The exhilaration has been going up and up with each passing day of the ongoing Commonwealth Games, wherein India put on a stunning show on the third day of the tournament, adding two golds in its kitty.
The credit for bringing the yellow gold goes to weightlifters Jeremy Lalrinnunga and Achinta Sheuli in the 67kg and 73kg categories respectively.
The Indian badminton move up to the semi-finals of the mixed team event fueling hopes for more medals in the country’s tally, while the men’s table tennis squad also made their way to the semi-finals.
On another pleasing note, the men’s hockey team registered a commanding win against Ghana on Sunday and seems quite dominating for their upcoming campaign.
Meanwhile, on the fourth day, boxer Amit Panghal will display his excellence in the sport, with the Indian men’s hockey team set to face off traditional rival England.
While in Badminton mixed team event, the Indian squad will put in efforts to move forward to the finals.
