New Delhi: Ace Aussie Batsman and 3-time World Cup winner David Warner recently trolled an Indian cricket fan on social media for calling Australian cricketers arrogant.
It all happened when an Instagram user named Nipun Pathak took to his Twitter (Now X) and tagged Warner in his post that read, “In the past Australian players were very arrogant but after winning this World Cup they will become more arrogant.”

Responding to Nipun, the Australian cricketer hit back at him by asking if he had met any Australian player in person or if he was just trying to vent it out on the Keyboard.”
Warner wrote, “Did you meet some of the players or is this just a keyboard opportunity to vent?”

It is the right of Australian players to show excitement after winning the WC. It should not be counted as arrogance.

Meanwhile, Warner remained the highest run-getter for the men in yellow for the second consecutive time in the history of the ICC ODI World Cup.
In the tournament, the New South Wales superstar showcased his exceptional batting skills and smashed 535 runs in 11 innings with a breathtaking strike rate of 108.
Although the cricketer failed to deliver for his team in the high-octane World Cup final clash against India, his team walked victorious in the World’s largest cricket stadium as Travis Head and Marnus Labushchange stitched a solid 192-run partnership that ensured Australia an easy 6 wickets win against the hosts on 19 November.
