Delhi Capital Skipper Rishabh Pant declared fully fit for IPL 2024

He made his 20-20 International debut for India in January 2017. He is best known for his ability to score runs in  Test cricket. He plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premiere League.

New Delhi: Two years after meeting with a horrific car accident, Indian Skipper Rishabh Rishabh Pant has finally declared fully fit to play for the IPL. He met with a car accident in 2022. It was a serious accident in which his left leg got severely dislocated. The accident occurred when he was driving from Delhi to his native place Roorkee. Rishabh was at the wheel when he fell asleep and his Mercedes collided with a Road divider and catched fire. Some local people noticed him and took him to the hospital. Rishabh suffered serious injuries in the accident and had to undergo surgery to fix his injuries.

Rishabh’s comeback in IPL

Now after a span of over two years, the Indian Cricketer is all set to make a comeback in the IPL after getting a Fitness Certificate from the National Cricket Academy. He has been following hard training schedules in Bengaluru since last year and finally got the fitness certificate a few days ago. He was has been following a serious fitness routine to get back in shape.

About his early life

Rishabh Rajendra Pant was born on 4th October 1997 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He was named in the India’s squad for 2016 Under-19 cricket World cup. He made his 20-20 International debut for India in January 2017. He is best known for his ability to score runs in  Test cricket. Rishabh plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premiere League. He was named as the Indian Captain for the T-20 series against South Africa. Rishabh was always fond of cricket and he used to travel with his mother to get training at the Sonnet Cricket Academy. His father passed away in 2017 due to a Heart Attack.
