New Delhi: Finalissima 2025 is set to have the perfect script line that is possible with Messi and Yamal facing off each other in this 1-game encounter. What is the Finalissima?
The Finalissima is a one-game encounter where the winner of the UEFA Euro Championship takes on the winner of the CONMEBOL COPA America Winner. Last time the iconic Wembley hosted the winner of the 2021 COPA America Argentina and the 2020 UEFA Euro Champions Italy.

The tournament was earlier known as the European/South American Nations Cup which was then named the Artemio Franchi Cup, the former president of UEFA gave the idea for this tournament. Currently, it is known as Finalissima which translates to ‘grand final’ in Italian.

The venue and time of the 2025 Finalissima competition which is set to take place between Argentina and Spain is yet to be decided and has not been confirmed by either UEFA or CONMEBOL.
